You can find it in a King James Edition in:

II Kings 18:27
Isaiah 36:12

And when they add King james language to it and make it 'pisseth':

I Sam 25:22, 25:3
I Kings 14:10, 16:11, 21:21
II Kings 9:8

Most newer versions have editted out so you don't realize it was in there! So you see...it is in a Christian book.

As for some of the raw emotions Ted displays in this particular work, I also find them appropriate because these things happen to Christians to, and evoke these same emotions.

I might also add that Ted knows this from personal experience because his own daughter was kidnapped :-(Bonnie S. In "Sinner", he used the word "Hell" 3 times - characters telling others to go there. In this book, he takes God's name in vain 2 times - page 9 and 152 (if that isn't taking God's name in vain, then I don't know what is) - also disturbing is the use of the word "p-ss" - out of place in a Christian book - and if that gets edited out of my review, then it should be out of the book before CBD sells it. Those issues aside, it is an exciting book to read, and his best story plot so far.

Kind regards,
Jason of the Wedding Favors Community of GAAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
