Well I'm back and finally rested from the Greater Philadelphia Christian Writers Conference. I won the GPCWC - Writer Of The Year Award...very cool!

Every year I wait with eager anticipation for the conference and then in the blink of an eye it is over, and I'm waiting for next year to come!

*sigh* One big circle of anticipation!

This was a great year for the conference though! It broke attendance records, and got a spiffy new format using the Biblical Learning Center for all the classes and appointments, which really reduced travelling time for people going to classes from their one-on-one appointments. It also gave people time to linger over the books in the bookstore, since everything was in the same building.

Friday night after the General session we had our first ever Book Signing Party, complete with helium balloons! Everyone had a great time and sveral people including Joyce Magnin and her debut novel, "The Prayers Of Agnes Sparrow" sold out!

Also new this year, the University opened Heritage Hall up to house conferees and faculty in it's two-to-a-room dorms.

The great hall of the building was quite condusive to relaxed after hours conversations between faculty and conferees And the security in that building is like Fort Knox!

Me and some of my buds!
