GPCWC - Philly Conference

Good Thursday to everyone! I've finally gotten enough sleep to feel half-way human again after the fabulous marathon last week called the Greater Philadelphia Christian Writers conference.

It's hard to describe just how much fun it is to network with old friends, make new friends and take a grand array of workshops and Continuing session on the craft of writing. Every year I come home drained, and this one was no exception.

If I had one thing to be sad about, it was the lack of time! There is just never enough time to take it all in...and then it is over! I was so tired on the return trip to New York that I had to drink one of those 5-Hour Energy shots to make the 3-hour trip.

ROFLOL...those things only really work if your NOT a coffee drinker! They have about as much caffeine in them as a large Starbucks premium. But at least I made it home...several pounds larger from all the chocolate we consumed. Alright, alright...so I had the mug of M&M's at the Appointment Desk. They were purely for crowd control purposes :-) Well...and there was the out-of-this-world cinnamon buns that Wanda procured for us. And the huge baskets of food consumed at Red Rooster with my editor Barb Scott, and a bunch of great friends and fellow authors.

Hmmm...does the common thread here sound like food?

I have a public link to the full album of pictures I have from the conference!
