This Month in History

This October has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays, all in one month.  It happens once in 823 years.

Actually, this isn't as unique as it might seem. I think it happens at least once a year. This is the second time it happened this year (Jan.)

Actually, this happens every 6 to 11 years -- like 1971, 1982, 1993, 1999, 2004, 2021, 2032 -- yes, all Octobers. (The 6 year thing is because of leap year).

And nope, I am not this smart. I just realized that 823 -- an odd number -- had to be wrong when we are talking about multiples of 12, even considering leap years, because those are multiples of 4 which is also an even number -- so I Googled and found: http://www.geekosystem.com/5-fridays-saturdays-sundays-not-823-years/
