MEN, DOGS and CATS

Now what in the world do you suppose
cats, men and dogs have in common?

A lot! Really!

The Bad Stuff

All of them take up too much room on the bed.

All have irrational fears about vacuum cleaning.

None notice when you get a new hair do.

All refuse to help with the dishes.

All like dominance games.

None will tell you what's bothering them.

All are very direct about wanting to go out.

All are suspicious of the mailman.

The Good Stuff

All are trainable.
(takes a bit of effort though)

All are serious when they kiss you.

None care if you leave your clothes on the floor.

They all miss you when you are gone.

Time spent with them is never wasted.

They are all very intelligent.
(a little stretch here)

They all like attention.
(if you catch them in the right mood)

They all know how to relax.

Hello. I was just doing some blog surfing and bumped into you. I like your post about men-dogs & cats. I presently have two little Yorkie dogs and believe me they sure fit the description well. I am a christian and like you, I am Born-Again. It sure changes our perspective on life, doesn't it.

Thanks Bonnie. Happy Thanksgiving. I gave someone advice on a blog that maybe I wouldn't have, except I think it was good advice, since you have spoken up a couple of times when I thought it was appropriate - helped steered the comments boat straight. Just one question, how do you feel when you speak up about what seems the truth, but nobody else sees it or appreciates it - does that make you feel uncomfortable? How do you deal with that?

Ya' know, God made me with a big mouth. Sometimes ya' gotta' do what ya' gotta' do??

No I never feel uncomfortable....after 55 years you get kinda' over the feeling.
