OH CHRISTMAS TREE, OH CHRISTMAS TREE

'Tis the season to be jolly....yea, yea (No! Not the Beatles)

Two weeks till Christmas and I'm already making myself nuts. This is the beginning...the tree.

Now I'm on to festooning the outside of the house with enough lights to make Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation proud.

Yes the electric company does send me a congratulations card every January in the form of a bill that needs to be delivered in a box! Just kidding!

Beautiful tree! My kids have been after me to put ours up - but little boys tend to break things so... we wait!

But I have finished all my shopping with one exception - the hubby - I am not sure if her has been naughty or nice - =)

Beautiful, Bonnie! (My twins would knock this down about an hour after it was up though. LOL They'd probably try to climb it! Boys...)

WOW! What a tree! Did ours yesterday. Not as much fun with the kids gone, the cats are even too old to play with errant bulbs. We'll be expecting more pics!

Nice tree. We just got ours up yesterday. It's not as pretty as yours. I'm jealous.

That's a beautiful tree. I let my daughter and her friends decorate ours for the first time ever (YIKES!)

To keep it from being knocked over, we used to tie it to the wall in the corner behind it. that was when the cats were younger.

Once I walked by the tree and...you know that feeling when you're being watched. Well. I backed up, peered around, and there was a cat inside the tree sitting on a branch looking out at me!

Tying up, huh? Now that could work! Thanks for the tip.

Off to look at the walls in the living room,

The cat in the tree staring at you - that would freak me out! When we had our cat we never had that probelem - but then again she was so big she probably wouldn't have fit between the branches. =)

Thanks Bonnie for the advice that you left me on my site. I'm going to (try to)take it. Oh, Bonnie, I notice that a lot of people are not around on the weekends, but you and I are, so does that mean that people do this blogging at work? I heard that the Monday after Thanksgiving day was a big shopping day for internet purchasers while at work....Oh, and thank you for telling me I'm cute. I appreciate that, and appreciate your reading through all of my "long-winded-ness!"
